Panama Canal Expansion Project

The work contracted by TecoZam consisted of the formwork for climbing walls, slabs, and foundations, spanning 550,000.00 m2, and 750,000 m3 of structural concrete. Apart from the formwork and concreting, TECOZAM carried out the specific joint treatment works with a high-pressure machine, the curing of the concrete and the arrangement of embedded metal elements that will sustain the canal's mobile equipment.

The works were carried out 24 hours a day from Monday to Saturday, with teams led by expert trainers in climbing formwork and local workers.
